About Jimmy González

Jimmy González is a former professional baseball player and experienced Minor League manager. Over a 14-year playing career with the Astros, Padres, Expos, and Mets organizations, he developed a deep understanding of the game. His passion for baseball continues to grow, and he considers it a privilege to pass that knowledge on to the players he mentors.

Jimmy spent eight seasons managing within the Chicago Cubs’ Minor League system and 4 years managing in the Boston Red Sox organization. A former catcher, he remains actively involved in developing catchers, while also working closely with players across all positions.
